What makes a Solas Candle so special?
Our candles are hand made and triple scented. They're made in the USA, not mass produced in a factory someplace in Asia and then shipped to the US. Only quality materials are used in the production of the candles, and they are lead free, and clean burning. Our candles also have a full melt pool, and are scented throughout the candle, not on the exterior only, like many mass-produced candles. With Solas Candle & Bath you are ordering a unique product that is sure to fill your home with a pleasant aroma!

How are the candles packaged and shipped? (I want to be sure that my candles arrive in one piece.)
Domestic US orders 6 pounds and under are shipped via United States Postal Service Priority Mail. ALL orders containing Fragrance Oils (and orders over 6 lbs.) are shipped via UPS. All orders are well packaged and labeled as fragile. They will also be shipped with a tracking number via Delivery Confirmation, to ensure it reaches you in a timely manner. If you receive a damaged order, notify your delivery person and us immediately so we can attend to your situation.

Can I pick up my order?
If you are in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area (or are willing to travel), we can make arrangements for you to pick up your order.

Do you require a minimum order?
Yes. There is a minimum order purchase of $10. If you order fails to meet the $10 minimum, it will be cancelled automatically and you will NOT be notified.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards and we also accept payments through Paypal for Paypal users. You can also mail a check or money order to us. Orders are not processed until paid for in full, so if you're sending a check, please allow ample time for us to not only receive it, but to clear it through our bank. Bounced checks are charged a $20 fee. After 5 business days, all unpaid orders are cancelled.

Can I order a candle and have it sent as a gift to another address with a gift note attached?
Of course! (and it's free, too!)

Are you a "Secret Buddy" friendly business?
Yes! Any order can be sent directly to a secret buddy. In the comments area of the shopping cart, please be sure to mention that the order is for a secret buddy, and supply their full name and shipping address. YOU (the buyer) will receive the invoice but your buddy will receive their gift anonymously.

Are these candles sold in stores anywhere?
Solas Candle & Bath currently does not operate any exclusive retail stores, but Solas Candles can be found in Mostly Clay (located in Pittsford, NY). If you are a retailer and are interested in stocking Solas Candle & Bath products in your place of business, please fill out this form and someone will be in contact with you shortly.

Could I receive one free sample?
Currently, we do not offer free samples through the website. However, you never know what surprises might be included with your order!

Do you have any specials?

Do you do weddings or parties?
We will cater to your needs in regard to large orders, such as corporate gatherings, family reunions, weddings, etc. Please contact us for details, and allow plenty of time for your order to be put together.

Do these candles have a guarantee?
We are proud of the product we make, and we are sure you will be proud of them as well. If you are not satisfied with your candles, return them within 30 days for either a refund or store credit.

Can I ask for a specialized candle to be made? (Maybe I want to send you a piece of jewelry and have you put that in a candle and then turn around and send it to someone as a special gift.)
All candy dishes are made to order according to desired colour, scent, and embeddables. Votive candles can also be ordered in any colour you desire, but they must be purchased in groups of 8. If you are interested in having a specific container turned into a candle, this can also be done. Any other specialized requests can also be taken into consideration, so please do not hesitate to ask.

What is your return and refund policy?
Finished product (candles, accessories, etc) can be returned within 30 days for a product exchange or a full refund of the purchase price. All requests for refunds or exchanges can be made in writing, via email, or over the telephone. Fragrance Oils, Candle Dyes, and Bath Salts CAN NOT be returned once they are purchased because we have no way to prove that the product is returning to us in the same purity as it was when sent.

What is your policy if I wish to cancel my order?
You can cancel your order from the time it was placed up until the time it is shipped. Once your order is shipped we do not allow the order to be cancelled.

What is your privacy policy?
None of the information gathered by Solas Candle & Bath, LLC is ever sold or distributed to third parties unless required by law to fascilitate a criminal investigation.
